Castle DMCA and Copyright Compliance Policy

1. Neutral Content Aggregator and Search Index Status

Castle operates strictly as a neutral content aggregator and digital search index designed for the Android ecosystem. This digital platform is specifically optimized for Android smartphones, Android TV boxes, and Amazon Firestick devices. For users operating on a PC, Windows, or Mac platform, the Castle application explicitly requires an Android Emulator such as BlueStacks or LDPlayer to run successfully. Castle does not host, upload, store, or physically own any video files, media streams, or digital content on its servers. The platform automatedly crawls, indexes, and aggregates public third-party hyperlinks that are already available freely across the internet. Consequently, Castle maintains a protected safe harbor status as a neutral intermediary under global copyright regulations and applicable local digital frameworks.

2. Commitment to Intellectual Property and Content Creators

Our platform holds the highest respect for the intellectual property rights of content creators, copyright owners, and digital broadcasters. We recognize the immense value of creative productions across all entertainment sectors. This includes major Bollywood production studios, regional cinema houses, international entertainment networks, and global sports leagues or cricket authorities. Castle is fully committed to maintaining a clean and lawful search environment for all users in India and globally. We proactively cooperate with copyright holders to address unauthorized digital distributions. If any indexed link points to content that infringes upon your legal rights, you may submit a formal removal request. We handle all valid copyright complaints with urgency and transparency.

3. Requirements for Submitting a Takedown Notice

To report an indexed link that violates intellectual property rights, you must submit a formal written notification. This policy aligns with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and the Indian Copyright Act, 1957. Your takedown notice must contain specific details to be processed effectively by our legal compliance team. Anonymous or incomplete complaints cannot be verified and will be disregarded. Please ensure your submission includes the following essential elements:

A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a legally authorized representative acting on their behalf.

Clear identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed during the indexing process.

The exact URLs or specific location paths within the Castle app that lead to the alleged infringing material.

Direct contact information of the complaining party, including a valid email address and a working telephone number.

A formal statement declaring that the copyright owner has a good-faith belief that the use of the material is unauthorized.

A statement confirming that the information provided in your notice is accurate, made under penalty of perjury.

4. Counter-Notification and Fair Use Framework

If a user believes that an indexed link was removed due to a mistake or misidentification, a counter-notification can be submitted. This process respects the fair use provisions established under regional frameworks and the Indian Copyright Act, 1957. All counter-notifications must be sent directly to our designated compliance contact. The counter-notification must contain the user's contact details, identification of the removed link, and a statement under penalty of perjury regarding the mistake. Once received, Castle will forward the counter-notice to the original complaining party. If no legal action is initiated by the copyright owner within fourteen business days, the search index link may be restored.

5. Strict Three-Strike Policy for Repeat Violations

Castle enforces a zero-tolerance policy against repeat intellectual property violations to protect creators and maintain search integrity. We track all valid takedown notices linked to specific third-party source streams. Content links or sources that continuously violate copyright guidelines face progressive disciplinary actions. Our strict compliance enforcement operates under a clear three-strike structure:

Strike One: Castle issues a formal warning to the linked source and immediately removes the specific indexed link from our database.

Strike Two: If the same source triggers another valid complaint, Castle imposes a temporary suspension on indexing any materials from that origin.

Strike Three: Continuous violations result in a permanent ban, completely blocking the source from being indexed by Castle.
